Well that was embarrassing.

I let Handsome Jack out while Madeline was downstairs, but he wasn't really interested in exploring, so we sat in his room on the couch for a little while. Eventually he felt comfortable enough to leave his room, so we went into the other room and he looked around. I left him for a second to go get something from his room, and of course that's when Madeline goes running in to see who's in her room. I run after her, and don't see him. Then, I look in the bathroom, and

he's peeing in her litterbox. She's shocked, I'm shocked, and Handsome Jack does not care. As soon as he finishes, he leaps out and runs right up to her. They sniff noses a couple times, but at the third one she decides she's done and she hisses. He backs up, and goes back to exploring. She follows him around, I'm assuming to ambush him when he's not looking. I follow them around, just in case she decides to be mean.

He saw her come to the edge of the bed, and thought that maybe she wanted to play, so he chirped at her and hopped up to see her...

And she promptly hissed at him to let him know that no, she certainly does not want to play with him. The nerve.

I love this guy. The FIV+ cats are always the sweetest. I think they just try to be friendly with the wrong crowd, and end up with FIV. And a snakebite. Can't win.
