Training day
Zeta had her first training session with Off Leash K9 yesterday. She was super excited at the beginning and not so much at the end. I wish we could just let the trainer handle it because she's so good and consistent, but I know we need to help Zeta, too, and it'll be better for her if we take the lead.
We knew she was hard headed, but this training is really showing just how stubborn she can be. She's so smart and knows exactly what to do, but she wants to do it on her time, when she feels like it. But she has to learn that she's not the boss, and she will.
It's extremely frustrating to watch her twitch because she refuses to do something as arbitrary as sit, but she'll be better off and happier in the end.

Dr. Kenneth Spaceman
This guy is awesome.
Seriously couldn't ask for a nicer, more affectionate cat. I'm curious to see how he'd do when not confined to a room, but he's still recovering from neuter surgery, so we'll give it a couple more days.
He came home with me on Sunday because was on his second round of cold medicine, but he's been fit as a fiddle since his second day with us. Go figure. I think the shelter just really stresses him out.
He's a solid guy. 10 lbs, 2 years. He has a cute little white ascot and bikini. He loves to play but loves attention even more.
We go out of town next week, so unfortunately we'll have to say goodbye to this awesome cat. He'll make some very lucky family very happy.
