Adopted!

Ol' Dumbdumb got adopted yesterday. He and his new brother, Ghost, got along like two peas in a pod, and his new mom was so glad to take him home. They're already getting into trouble together.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but Ghost is about 70 lbs. He and Quinn have similar play styles and energy, so I'm sure they'll be very happy together. Shannon Johnstone has offered to do a follow-up photo shoot, and I hope they do!

Haymitch's outside adventure

Way back in October...
Haymitch loves going outside.

Such a handsome and sweet boy, I don't know why he hasn't gotten a single inquiry.

We'll keep looking.

Pretty little Mamba

Mamba has come so far.

You can see big, scary Honey there in the background. Mamba is much more tolerant of the dogs now. Mamba will not walk right up to Honey and sniff her nose, but she doesn't stay still long enough to get licked. She knows Quinn's still a puppy, so she tends to keep her distance from him.

I've come to love Mamba the most out of our foster cats. She's so gentle and affectionate. She loves to have her belly rubbed, loves to be near you and is so much fun when she plays.

She's the only cat that I trust completely. Our boys are not gentle during play and haven't learned to put in their nails when playing with people. Mamba will go after toys and blankets, but with hands she keeps her nails in and is so gentle.

This poor girl was returned for being too nice. No joke. This may be the nicest cat in the world. She just would like a home without dogs, even ones as nice as Honey and Quinn. She's adjusted nicely, but I know there's a perfect home out there for her.

We'll keep looking.
