Our handsome boy is being suitably spoiled.

Sue is back at the shelter

After slapping Honey around a few times, Sue has returned to the adoption center. We hope that her loving personality will shine and she will be adopted very soon. We miss her very much.

Chester has gone home!

Chester was adopted yesterday. We'd been communicating with the family for about a month and were finally able to have a meet and greet, where they fell in love with Chester. Unlike the others, they were sure that he was the one, and I'm sure that he'll have a great life with them. We miss him, of course, but we're happy all the same.

I love this cat.

She is such a dynamic, sweet, loving cat.

She's come so far from the cat that was pulled from the feral room and was in danger of humane euthanasia because she was so stressed out on the adoption floor. She has learned to trust and probably loves me as much as I love her.

There's a Sue-nami on the other side of the door.

Having her here reminds me of all the cats that don't make it, because they're labeled "feral" or they're just too scared. We couldn't have asked for a better cat, and we had her for months without a single adoption interest. It took her a few weeks to come around, but she's basically a perfect cat. She uses the litterbox, she's quiet, she sits in your lap but not all the time, she loves attention but isn't annoying about it. She doesn't get on the counters or knock things over for fun.

I love this cat.
