The ol' foster switcharoo

As much and as quickly as we fell in love with Spaz (short for Ivy Verona Esperanza Bardot), we brought a different cat home today and let her go home with a different foster parent. Her new foster parent is more experienced with correcting hand play, and our new foster will hopefully do better here in our quieter home.

Spaz is still available for adoption or rescue, and I hope to get some updates on her progress soon. Our new cat, Boris, is getting some quiet time; I'll work on photos tomorrow.

Hi! My name is Ivy Verona Esperanza Bardot, but my friends call me Spaz. I'm a big kitten looking for someone to play with. My foster mom likes to sit and watch me play; she says I have enough energy to keep an igloo cool in Arizona, whatever that means. I'm spayed and ready to go home NOW. I can't wait to get to know her more. She is such a sweetheart, she's just not used to getting attention. She's used to playing. Someone must have had her as a kitten and used their hand as a toy, because she goes nuts if you try to pet her because she's trying to play. She already runs up to greet me and rub her face on me. She's going to make a great companion for someone.

This is our new foster, Spaz. She's super playful and needed to come home to work some of the energy out and get used to people. She's friendly but not crazy about lots of attention right now, but she sat and let me watch her play and play and play.
